The Schools Division Office-Caloocan conducted a 2-day live-out Division Roll-Out on the National Orientation of DepEd Librarians on School Library Establishment, Improvement, and Management on May 9-10, 2019 at Congress Elementary School Conference Hall.

The training aims to help participants achieve the following objectives: 1. Translate the vision and mission of DepEd libraries into practices to provide better school library services;

2. Look at the duties and responsibilities of the school librarians in a different perspective;

3. Apply the requirements and standards on school library establishment,improvement, and management; and

4. Create a learner-centered school library and a place for differentiated learning.

The roll-out was delivered by Ms. Elena S. Lalisan, Librarian II, and was attended by teacher-librarians from public elementary and secondary schools in Caloocan City.
